FLOW - LIGHT INSTALLATION

Flow the award-winning light experience developed by Vera Dieckman, founder of XO Atelier in collaboration with Lasvit, was first premiered in the Middle East in 2018. 

 

Inspired by the life-giving power of light and water, the piece pays homage to the elements and their importance in the design culture of the United Arab Emirates. 

Like many of Vera’s designs, Flow is not just an object but an experience that absorbs and reflects light, and is transformed for the observer depending on the angle and situation it’s viewed in. Combining different surfaces, structures, and reflections, the various handmade glass pieces and organically shaped metal frames help the light source work its magic across the diverse textures and cast a xx glow to define any interior space.
