SOCIETY CAFE , JUMEIRAH, DUBAI, UAE 2021

Society Dubai is a two-storey glasshouse villa, located in a traditional residential area of the city, housing a cafe concept that provides a homestyle retreat for stylish locals.

Based on clean lines and geometric structures, the design of the space is focused on the simplicity of reduction. The minimalist approach champions key elements that combine to create a light open space where guests can find a moment of repose. The indoor-outdoor concept reflects both urban and natural living, employing a thoughtful selection of materials including concrete tiles, calacatta gold marble, natural oak and brass detailing. The rich and welcoming ambience is supporting by clever colour detailing in light, natural shades and a celebration of the textures and shades of nature. It was created in close cooperation with the operator and owner and her vision of the project.
