Flow _ Lasvit

Flow explores the ephemeral beauty of moving water, transforming its ever-changing reflections into a sculptural lighting installation that blurs the line between art and design. Inspired by the iridescent shimmer of sunlight on water, the collection captures the delicate interplay of ripples, pebbles, depth, and transparency through organically shaped hand-blown glass elements.

The composition celebrates fluidity and movement, with each individual piece layered in varying colours, textures, and finishes to create continuously changing visual impressions from every viewpoint. The free arrangement of the glass components allows every installation to become unique, while the subtle overlap of translucent surfaces evokes the depth and complexity of natural water formations.

For the first time within a Lasvit lighting collection, direct illumination was seamlessly integrated into the sculptural composition, merging functional light with artistic expression. Rather than simply illuminating a space, Flow creates an immersive atmosphere of shifting reflections and soft luminosity, responding to its surroundings throughout the day. Through its layered surfaces and ever-changing reflections, the installation transforms with light and perspective, creating a unique sensory experience from every angle.

An adaptation of Flow was later commissioned and installed within Cartier’s boutique in Geneva, demonstrating the versatility of the concept and its ability to translate into exceptional luxury environments while preserving its poetic connection to nature and craftsmanship.
