Kneaded Bakery

Kneaded Bakery & Café was conceived as a contemporary neighbourhood bakery for Khawaneej, bringing together the warmth of a home bakery with a playful and modern design language. Inspired by the brand’s vibrant identity and the colours of freshly baked pastries, the interior creates a welcoming destination where craftsmanship, community, and everyday rituals come together.

At the heart of the concept is an open bakery, allowing guests to observe the baking process from preparation to display. This transparency celebrates the artisanal nature of the product while creating a direct connection between maker and customer. A compact café area offers intimate seating alongside the storefront, extending into outdoor seating that encourages a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere.

The material palette draws inspiration from golden pastries, warm sunlight, and natural ingredients. Glazed ceramic tiles in sun-yellow, caramel brown, terracotta, and soft cream are paired with natural oak timber, creating a rich yet approachable environment. Geometric patterns, custom furniture, and playful colour accents reflect the brand’s youthful character while maintaining a clean architectural expression.
