Cartel Roasters - Mirdif reimagines the specialty coffee experience as a contemporary living room—warm, welcoming, and deeply connected to the culture of coffee. Designed by XO Atelier, the space balances minimal architectural expression with carefully curated materials and furnishings, creating an environment where craftsmanship and community naturally come together.

At the heart of the café stands a striking freestanding stainless-steel bar, conceived as both a functional workspace and a stage for coffee preparation. The open layout allows guests to engage with the brewing process, celebrating the artistry behind every cup while fostering a sense of connection between baristas and visitors.

The interior combines crisp white surfaces with walnut wood, black-stained timber, bronze accents, and floor-to-ceiling glazing, creating a refined yet approachable atmosphere. Inspired by mid-century living spaces, the design incorporates bespoke hand-tufted wall rugs, curated artwork, lush planting, and residential-style lounge seating that encourages guests to linger.

Carefully selected furniture from leading international brands including La Palma, Andreu World, District Eight, and DCW Éditions reinforces the project’s commitment to quality and timeless design. Through clean lines, honest materials, and thoughtful detailing, Cartel Roastery Mirdif transforms a coffee shop into a destination where design, culture, and hospitality meet.
