Avantcha Tea Shop & Cafe

Inspired by the clarity and restraint of contemporary Asian architecture, Avantcha Tea Shop & Café is conceived as a modern sanctuary dedicated to the ritual of tea. The design embraces a minimal architectural language, where clean geometries, strong linear compositions, and a carefully curated monochromatic palette create a calm and immersive experience.

The interior is defined by the interplay of black and white surfaces, polished steel, glazed lava stone, and black-stained timber, creating a sophisticated composition of texture, reflection, and contrast. At the heart of the space, a bespoke polished steel tea exploration table invites guests to discover Avantcha’s extensive tea collection through a sensory journey of sight and aroma.

A sculptural hand-dyed linen light installation floats above the central experience, casting a soft, atmospheric glow that balances the precision of the surrounding architecture. The result is a refined environment where contemporary design, Asian influences, and the timeless culture of tea come together in a distinctly modern expression of hospitality.
